A ten year old twin, played and dared each other to stand on top of the wall with a cliff behind. One succeeded, the other one fell and died. From then on, the happiness in the family disappeared, especially of the mother and one of the twin, Gibson.
The movie, Ang Nawawala chronicles the story of the trauma that the boy Gibson suffered by losing his twin brother. Right after the accident, Gibson, could no longer talk. All that he does is making gestures to communicate with them. The death of his twin brother made many areas of Gibson's life died too; his relationship with his twin brother, with his family especially his mother, his relationship and belief in himself. That had been their lives for ten years.
But things changed when Gibson went home from the US to spend christmas with his family. Little did he know that he will meet a person who will put back his belief in himself and in life. An experience that will enable him to talk again and reconcile with his mother during New Year's day!
