TUMBLING

Last night nakatanggap ako ng card.  An appreciation card from one of my members.  I was so happy to receive it because it came at the right time.  When the world is pulling me down, God used her by pushing me up.

To our dear Pastor Arnel,
   
      Pastor, this is a thank you card for the following reasons (hehehe parang report)

1.  For just being you;

2.  For exerting your efforts for the church without being pushy;

3.  For welcoming newcomers to the church (I am one of them);

4.  For being funny when delivering your sermon and when blogging;

5.  For your encouragement in times of trials and needs even if you, yourself is also facing your own   trials;

6.  For inspiring us all to do more to improve ourselves as you, yourself is doing by studying and now with the dissertation; and

7.  etc. etc. etc. etc!

     As you face a new endeavor in your career this is a simple gift for a Pastor, who truly loves the Lord!

(This member is a very private person kaya I rather withhold disclosing the name.  The card is enclosed with a cash gift as a promise of help for my dissertation).

More than the love gift, I appreciate the love this member joyfully expresses to a servant of God.
