FOOD, FUN AND FRIENDSHIP

They are our regular food donor in the church.


Just last Sunday, they  gave this:

We have already consumed some prior to this picture

From time to time we receive from them goodies made in the US.

But you know what?   It took me three years  to visit them in the house. 

It could have been earlier.  But our schedules don't meet.

The appointed day came when she invited us to her house one Saturday.  

And it was worth the wait because she invited us on her birthday.


She invited "only us" to grace her important event.


And  served us with these:

I dont know but it seems that they do not only know we "need" food, they seem  certain also that we "like"  food.  Hahahahahaha!

And they were certainly right because the more they served us with food the more our conversation became exciting and unending.  Hahahahaha!  

We barely noticed that my wife and me had been eating for four hours and our conversation with them took that long too.

That was a generous afternoon.  Filled with food, fun and friendship.

As if those things are not enough to make us feel blessed, the mother, in one of our chat in fb told me:

"Sa pagkakaalam ko pastor, kayo lang ang pastor ang pinagpray ko."

To hear that from a member and to realize that I am the only pastor that she is praying for, I can say na, "Me na.  Me na talaga." Hahahahaha!

On the contrary, baka naman para sa kanya, ako lang ang pastor na nangangailangan ng panalangin while the rest are ok.  Hahahahahaha!

Whatever, the truth is, magaan ang loob namin sa isa't isa.  Kahit tuwing Sunday, tinginan at ngitian lang ang nag-uugnay sa amin.
