TICKETS TO THE THEATER

I was awaken in the middle of my sleep last night.  Just when I am planning to sleep earlier beginning this June, it was the waking up that came too soon than I expected.  When I looked at my watch, it was only 1:49 am.  

My sleeptime was past over me and so I did some things to put myself to sleeping mode.  One thing that I did is  scavenging my drawer.  One of the things that I got were these:

Used tickets 

These tickets reminded me of the films (mostly independent)  that my wife and I watched in the Cultural Center of the Philippines.

Actually,these are just some of the tickets that I got.  I just can't remember where I kept the others.  

These tickets also reminded me of my patronage to the Annual Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival done every month of July.  That means, next month, you will see us falling in line to the theater, crying to a poignant scene and laughing inside the theaters.  

And I am proud to be a part, even just as an audience, of this festival.  I have witnessed how it became popular to the movie going public year after year.

This tickets is my way of bringing my wife to a simple, enjoyable and romantic date.  Yes, we still hold hands while watching films.  We still embrace when we are cold.  My wife is my film buddy.  

This post is also my way of thanking my good friend SS for providing us these tickets. Its July again my friend. Hehehehehehe! Another time to fall in line, cry and laugh and to keep more tickets in my drawer.
